Life is depressing indeed.  School has been beyond hectic, so busy that it has made me numb.  When was the last time i DIDNT freak out when i had 2 tests and a presentation on the same day?!  *sigh* That happened this thursday... just cruised along.

English - Love the teacher, enjoy the content, doing above average but mediocre... which makes no sense

Theory of Knowledge - Fascinatingly hyper teacher, content bothers me, doing above average but once again mediocre, lack participation during discussions

History - I should sleep less in this class, content is a bore but teacher is very dedicated to the subject, highly time-consuming homework and projects right now

Physics - Hopefully i got an A on the first major quiz/test (aka QuEST).  From how much review i did, im very surprised that i was able to answer all the questions with confidence.  However, it's always the little details that make me lose marks.  I love the free time in this class!

Chemistry - Extremely annoying miss-know-it-all-suck-up in the class, test next week, teacher is okay, content EASY, getting around 90% for quizzes so far

Math - Three quizzes, no results, teacher is a genius but has no idea how to teach *goes  to look for reviews on ratemyteacher*

French - Major source of frustration and failure, hopefully i didn't "bomb" the inclass essay too badly, journals are my nightmares playing in living daylight

IB Council - Along w/ 20 some odd people, i didn't make it thru the preliminary round.  Am i THAT pathetic in this organization called international baccalaureate?! Fudge.  No service rep either.

Clubs - i love my club buddies!  So far joined: Reach, MUN, KHP, HFH, (whoa so many intials), IBAO, Service, and Knitting.

Upcoming - VMUN, BCYP, ING Sea Wall, Access Justice Interview

Blahhh list...

Wow, so this is my first blog entry since April something!

Major changes

- I GOT A JOB

- I GOT ANOTHER JOB

- First paycheque

- Now own a website: http://www.ubiquity.adieuamour.com

Belated birthdays to JK Rowling, Daniel Radcliffe...and someone else i forgot... oh and of course, TMSH!! I dragged my self through grade 10, super.  Provincial exam results are out, and my mom still havent finished her lecture about how my crappy marks are not gonna get me into good universities. BAH! So this summer is pretty much made of work, novels, fastfood, and the occasional outing with friends.

I'm back being active on myspace: www.myspace.com/beepingmodem hehe, such a creative name o_O

Just a heads up that I'm still alive .

Article from Katie Leung Fan on the Kissing Scene

After filming the scene, Daniel said, during filming it was a bit awkward. What's even more interesting is that both his and Katie's mom were there on set. When Dan and Katie were filming the kissing scene, both moms were behind the camera. Although both mothers were there when they were filming the scene, Dan still demonstrated a professional actor's quality. Before filming the scene, Dan said:" I know this scene is very important to me and I hope it's a good start. Probably kissing is one of the basic skills needed for an actor." ﹛ Katie then says, she's very lucky to be able to work with Dan. This is her second time on screen and her acting skills are far from Dan who has acted in the last 4 movies. But she says Dan is very cooperate and the feeling was great since they both understood each other when acting. Now, probably a lot of Potter fans are anxious to watch this scene.

Anxious indeed....

<-- Proposed date for Book 7...i think it'd be the biggest marketing campaign in the history of publishing!

You might not want to direct link the images in case my photobucket goes down

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT: as you add your personal stuff to the side, the blog entries will move UP!  To move it down, go to the last line in your header

<div align="center" class="blogbody" style="overflow: visible; width: 490px; margin-top: -870px; margin-left: -218px;">

  • and adjust the bolded value.   Decreasing it will move the blogs down.  Increasing it will move the blog up.  Play around with it until you get the right one!

Hope you like the layout!

George Bush Joke (because I'm bored and decided to procrastinate )

President Bush was visiting a primary school. One of the classes was in the middle of a discussion related to words and their meaning. The teacher asked the president if he would like to lead the discussion of the word "tragedy." So the illustrious leader asked the class for an example of a tragedy.

Little Jimmy stood up and offered, "If my best friend, Johnny, who lives on a farm, were playing in the field and a tractor ran him over and killed him, that would be a tragedy."

"No," said Bush, "that would be an accident."

Little Suzie raised her hand: "If a school bus carrying 50 children drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not." explained the president. "That's what we would call a great loss."

The room went silent. No other children volunteered. Bush searched the room.

"Isn't there someone here who can give me an example of tragedy?"

Finally at the back of the room little Johnny raised his hand. In a quiet voice he said: "If Air Force One carrying Mr. and Mrs. Bush was struck by a "friendly fire" missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy."

"That's right!" exclaimed Bush. "Can you tell me why that would be a tragedy?"

"Well," says little Johnny, "it has to be a tragedy, because it certainly wouldn't be a great loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident either."

LMAO
